MANIVA · INFO
Parking
Two valleys, two winter approaches. Choose your side before setting off.
GETTING TO MANIVA
WINTER · TWO SEPARATE APPROACHES
In winter the road across Passo Maniva does not connect the two sides (Valle Trompia and Valle Sabbia). Your destination determines the correct approach. In summer the road situation is different and the pass is normally connected, subject to current road and weather conditions.
FROM VAL TROMPIA
Chalet Maniva side
The main parking lot of the resort is located at the base of Chalet Maniva, right at the Passo Maniva. It serves as the main entry hub for visitors arriving from Valle Trompia. Access is via the SP345 Valle Trompia road from Brescia / Concesio, continuing past Collio and San Colombano all the way up to Passo Maniva. The parking area is spacious and free to use, with both paved and gravel parking options.
FROM BAGOLINO / VAL SABBIA
Igloo · Persech side
Located on the slope overlooking Valle Sabbia and the town of Bagolino, right next to the departure station of the Persech Chairlift. The parking area is free of charge and conveniently situated adjacent to the ski lifts and the Igloo Refreshment Point.

IMPORTANT: Winter Road Access & GPS Navigation
During the winter months, the high-altitude connecting road between the two sides of the resort is closed due to snow. Please choose your destination parking area based on where you are driving from and the services you wish to reach before setting your GPS!
Access from Valle Trompia (Chalet Maniva): Set your GPS to "Chalet Maniva" or "Passo del Maniva, Collio (BS)".
Access from Valle Sabbia (Bagolino / Persech Side): Set your GPS to "Seggiovia Persech" and always add the village of "Bagolino (BS)" as a waypoint / intermediate stop. This prevents your navigation system from routing you onto the high-mountain pass road, which is impassable in winter.
SUMMER
In summer, the two sides reconnect.
During the summer season the road over Passo Maniva normally links Valle Trompia and Valle Sabbia again. Always check current road, maintenance and weather conditions before travelling.
