Dasdana waterfalls

Water and woodland in the Maniva landscape.

NATURE IN MANIVA

About this place

The Dasdana waterfalls are one of the water features around Maniva. Unlike the higher lakes, their setting centres on flowing water and woodland. Plan the visit as a walk using a described and checked route.

Water, rock and vegetation

Stay on the route while observing the setting. Water flow and appearance change, so a photograph does not promise the same scene on the day. Avoid wet surfaces beside the water and respect any barriers.

Waterfalls and lake are different destinations

Dasdana lake and the waterfalls are not the same arrival point. To combine them, compare the route description with your available time and return plan: an extra stop can change the demands of the day. A navigation pin is not a substitute for a path map.

WINTER

In winter: assess the outing

Snow and ice change access, navigation and terrain. This page does not describe a marked or maintained winter route. Before deciding on an outing, check roads, weather and snow conditions with qualified advice. Do not walk onto frozen lakes or seek passages below waterfalls.
